Burnt Almond Fudge Ice Cream

My cute friend Jamie brought this ice cream into work last year and I have been dreaming about it and craving it ever since. Burnt almond fudge is not a flavor that I would normally choose when I go get ice cream but this homemade recipe is just heaven. I think one of the reasons I love it so much is because it has almond extract in it which, like I've said before, is my absolute favorite! This recipe makes a lot so if you have a small ice cream maker with 2 bowls you will most likely need to use both. Also, if you're not a big nut fan (like me) you can definitely leave the toasted almonds off, I think this ice cream still tastes absolutely amazing without them!
