Chicken Roll Ups

I have two chicken roll up recipes and while they are both good, they both have things that I like and don't like about them. So I decided to take my favorite parts from each one and combine them to make this recipe and it turned out great! I know it's not necessarily the most healthy recipe but it sure is good so I think it's definitely ok to have every once in a while. :)

Chicken Roll Ups
  • 2 packages crescent roll dough
  • 2-3 cups cooked chicken, cubed
  • 8oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • onion powder, to taste
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • melted butter
  • 1 package stove top stuffing mix, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
pat two crescent rolls together to make a large triangle. mix together chicken, cream cheese, nuts, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. spoon mixture on to each dough triangle and roll up, sealing all of the edges. dip in melted butter and then roll in stove top stuffing. bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. do not under bake. serve hot with cream of chicken soup sauce.

sauce- combine cream of chicken soup and sour cream in a sauce pan. heat over medium-high heat, stirring ocassionally.
