Lemon Pepper Pork Chops

I joined a recipe club a few months ago and this is a recipe from the club's blog. I am always looking for new things I can make for dinner, especially dishes that aren't chicken because I swear I have a million of those! This recipe is so great because you can make it the night before and then grill it up right before you are ready to eat. It's really easy and really good.
Lemon Pepper Pork Chops
  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
place pork chops in a ziploc bag. if they are really thick you can butterfly them or cut them in half. then in a bowl, mix all other ingredients. pour mixture into the bag and let marinate in the refrigerator until ready to use.

place on hot grill and cook 4-5 minutes on each side. make sure your grill is hot or you won't get those great grill marks. you could also do them under your broiler.
